New Chelsea Signing Snubs Rival Clubs

Chelsea have been in search of star players this summer transfer window to replace key positions in the club. Frank Lampard has only made one signing since his reign to full control of the Blues squad. Hakim Ziyech is the big name that Chelsea fans cannot wait to see in action.

The Blues have had their second target about to land in London as they have agreed on principle terms with goal machine Timo werner. He has been on the radar of many clubs, the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United. The youngster has had a superb campaign in the Bundesliga.

He has been able to score a total of 31 goals in forty games this season. Liverpool was the main competitor to Chelsea as they were in need of a support striker to Firminho. The Germany international is a key striker who could fit in the United squad too but had to consider a place in Chelsea.



The Blues are set to allocate him the coveted No.10 shirt which will see him as a main player in the frontline taking all chances to net in as many goals as possible.
