When Hakim Ziyech was invited to the Morroco squad for their two friendlies in the International break, it raised eyebrows and fears amongst many Chelsea fans. This is because just last weekend, manager Frank Lampard had said he wasn't fit enough to make the bench in the game against Crystal Palace. There were fears that he could aggravate his injury while on International duty with the Atlas Lions, especially when images emerged of him with a bandaged knee in training. But he played for them in their first friendly match nonetheless, the game against Senegal today. He was introduced in the second half, and went on to have a fantastic game. He was instantly involved as he played a couple of brilliant one-two passes, helping to set up the second goal for the Atlas Lions. He then grabbed a deserved assist soon after, sending as pinpoint cross from a freekick directly to the head of a teammate to make it 3-0. Source: jsportnewsaddess.blogspot.com
