Chelsea Make First Bid For Croatian Midfielder

Image
www.jsportnewsghblogspot.com Chelsea has made the first bid for Croatian midfielder Ivan Lepinjica as they aim to add the Rijeka midfielder to their team. Chelsea submitted a bid worth €3m-€4m, a valuation that is not enough to convince Rijeka to let go of the 20-year-old defensive midfielder. Rijeka is holding on €5m for the services of Lepinjica a price Chelsea will have to pay if they are willing to sign the youngster. Lepinjica is not short of suitors as Championship teams Leeds United and West Brom are also monitoring the situation, both Leeds and West Brom are prepared to guarantee the midfielder first-team football if they secure his signature. Lepinjica’s contract runs out in 2024 and he is likely to remain at Rijeka for one or two seasons if no suitors meet his price tag. He has made five appearances for the Croatian U-21 side and he is yearning to make the senior squad and Lepinjica is aware that a move to the bigger club could present him such an opportunity to play for the

Bid Made: Chelsea A Step Closer To Beating Arsenal To £42.6million Dembele Transfer

Image
www.jsportnewsgh.com Chelsea have reportedly made a bid of around £42.6million to Lyon for the transfer of striker Moussa Dembele. And it looks as though this offer has made Lyon seriously consider letting the French forward leave, though they want to sign a replacement before finalising his sale, according to  Don Balon . Despite Dembele also recently being linked as a target for Arsenal by  Le 10 Sport , it would seem Chelsea are now edging closer to winning this particular transfer battle, if Don Balon’s report is anything to go by. The Blues have been linked with Dembele before, and it makes sense that manager Frank Lampard might view him as an ideal signing for this January. Chelsea have looked a little light up front this season, becoming overly reliant on youngster Tammy Abraham in that position. Moussa Dembele could be on his way to Chelsea, with Lyon seemingly ready to accept their bid And while the England international has performed well, Lampard could do with someone like D

Real Madrid To Offer Jovic Plus £26m For Chelsea Target Werner (El Desmarque)

Image
www.jsportnewsgh.blogspot.com Real Madrid are lining up a player-plus-cash deal for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner, with outcasted frontman Luka Jovic potentially heading in the opposite direction. Werner, 23, is attracting plenty of attention in European football after scoring 18 league goals in 16 appearances for Bundesliga leaders Leipzig this season. It is believed Chelsea are seriously interested in the Germany international, with Frank Lampard free to splash the cash in January after seeing the Blues’ two-window transfer ban halved by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. But Lampard could face difficulty in luring Werner to Stamford Bridge if Madrid go head-to-head with them for his signature. According to El Desmarque, Real president Florentino Perez is an admirer of the player and is ready to offer Jovic as bait to bring him to the Bernabeu. The latter completed a £51m move to Madrid back in the summer after scoring 27 goals in 48 games for Eintracht Frankfurt last season. Jovic
