Transfer target teammate gives hope to United, Chelsea and Arsenal in pursuit

Bayer Leverkusen Goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky admits that his teammate is destined for big clubs.

Kai Havertz is one of the top-notch talent coming out of the Bundesliga. The player is enjoying a great season with Leverkusen. He is the first player to reach the landmark of 35 goals before turning 21.

Havertz is one of the players to keep an eye on for the future. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Liverpool are some of the big clubs who are after Havertz.

Havertz’s teammate Lukas Hradecky, is of the opinion that the player is “destined for greater things”.“He’s a star in the making and we’re happy he is here, hopefully, it’s not the last season he will be with us”.”But I do think he is destined for bigger things.

Havertz has been in great form since the Bundesliga’s restart, scoring 5 goals in games. Overall he has 15 goals and 8 assists for Leverkusen in 38 appearances in all competitions.

Bayer Leverkusen has made peace with the fact that they will have to part ways with Havertz. But they won’t let him leave for cheap. They will surely look to capitalize on his departure. The player’s valuation by the club is around 90 million euros.

All of the clubs lining up for him are aware that they will have to empty their pockets if they want to sign Havertz. Also is Werner agrees to a move it could lead in a chain reaction where Havertz and Sancho to decide to leave the Bundesliga.

Lukas Hradecky statement will give hope to all the interested parties to move for the player. The club wants the player to stay but the final decision will be his.

Havertz wants to finish the season with Bayer Leverkusen and then think about his future. According to Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are very interested in the player. And are preparing a 50 million bid for him

According to the Express, Chelsea and Arsenal are also plotting for a move for Havertz. There aren’t really many teams that wouldn’t want him. According to the report, Real Madrid has gone on and submitted their £71.1 million bid for the player.

But all of these clubs will face competition from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. Head Coach Hansi Flick is very interested in Havertz and wants to bring him to the Allianz Arena.

“He moves very well between the lines, is quite fast, safe on the ball and is good at finding space.”He has got a strong goal scoring instinct at a young age.” These were Flick’s statements for Havertz.

Apparently Werner rejected a move to Bayern in the previous week. And might be heading to join Chelsea to play in England. Havertz too could follow suit. Because if he joins Bayern he would have to play against his former club.

But the player also has an inclination to stay in Germany. It would take some effort and a very good deal to bring him to England. With the transfer window being shifted to 25th July, clubs will have a bit of breathing space to sort their affairs.

Chelsea loanees preparing for action as Lucas Piazon suffers defeat on return

Chelsea loanee Lucas Piazon played 54 minutes of Rio Ave's 3-2 defeat at home to Pacos de Ferreira on Sunday night, as Carlos Carvalhal's team were dealt a blow in their hopes of qualifying for Europe in their game since the Primeria Liga

The 26-year-old Brazilian, who will be on loan in Portugal against next season, was booked late in the first half with Pacos 2-0 in front and he was taken off nine minutes after the break.

Piazon did find the target with an effort on the stroke of half-time as Rio dominated close to 75% possession but conceded three courtesy of some hapless defending.

It leaves them five points adrift of fourth-place, the final Europa League spot currently occupied by Sporting Lisbon.

Elsewhere, Ethan Ampadu could be fit for a place on the bench in RB Leipzig's trip to Hoffenheim on Friday night after returning to training following a spell out with a back injury.

He is unlikely to start for Julian Nagelsmann's Champions League chasing side, however, having barely featured prior to the coronavirus pandemic.

The return of La Liga next weekend could also mean action for Kenedy and Baba Rahman at Getafe and Real Mallorca respectively, while Victor Moses's Inter Milan, coached by Antonio Conte, are in Coppa Italia action away to Napoli on Saturday evening.

A number of players on loan at Championship clubs are also expected to return a week later, on June 20 and 21, with extensions granted until the end of the campaign. Several are awaiting confirmation.

N’Golo Kante a Doubt for Chelsea Match at Aston Villa

It appears that Chelsea FC could be without their best player when they restart the season on Sunday June 21 at Aston Villa. That’s according to ESPN, who report that Blues boss Frank Lampard is concerned that midfielder N’Golo Kante won’t be match fit in time for kickoff.

Due to coronavirus fears, Kante has yet to train in a group session with his teammates, and has instead maintained an individual program. The side staged an intrasquad scrimmage at Stamford Bridge over the weekend, with the Frenchman being the only notable first team senior squad absentee.

The ESPN FC report states that Kante “is concerned about the risk of infection to other family members. Chelsea remain wholly supportive of Kante’s stance and have not put him under any pressure whatsoever to return to group training.”

The team will not force the previous PFA Players’ Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year award winner into getting on the same page as his teammates, but they are worried about his being behind schedule when it comes to match fitness.

Chelsea currently hold the fourth and final UEFA Champions League qualification slot, by three points over Manchester United. However, the Red Devils will come back after the break with leading scorer Marcus Rashford, and their most talented player, midfielder Paul Pogba, back healthy.

In other words, they now pose a major threat to Chelsea’s UCL hopes, and the southwest London side will need all hands on deck in order to stave them off during the run-in.

As for Aston Villa, they currently sit in 19th place, and they need all the points they can get in order to safely escape the relegation zone. So this will be a match where both sides have a lot on the line.

How Tammy Abraham reacted to Chelsea's deal for Timo Werner

Chelsea ace Tammy Abraham is not concerned about his future at the club and is confident of seeing off competition from Timo Werner to remain Frank Lampard’s first choice striker, according to reports.

The Blues are set to sign Werner for a fee of around £49million after Liverpool pulled out of a deal for the Germany star.

That deal has cast doubt over Abraham’s future at the club, particularly as he’s yet to sign an extension to his current contract which expires in 2022.

Frank Lampard has tended to favour a 4-2-3-1 formation this term, which suggests that it will be one of Abraham or Werner selected to play up front.

Given the amount being spent on Werner, it’s expected that the German would be first choice but the Athletic claim Abraham is ready to step up to the challenge and is confident that he can keep his place.

It’s claimed Abraham has an ‘open mind’ about Werner’s arrival and he fully expected Chelsea to sign competition in the attacking third given they were banned from signing players last summer.

However, despite Abraham’s confidence, it’s claimed that contract talks could be ‘parked’ for now until the striker sees how Werner’s arrival plays out.

It’s claimed Lampard will look at ways of playing the two together in an exciting frontline but that would appear difficult given Chelsea’s wealth of options in wide areas, with the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic to pick from.

Werner is set to join Ziyech as early summer signings at Stamford Bridge and Lampard is keen on signing Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell with the remainder of his budget.

Chelsea set to miss out signing of Serie A No.5 midfielder

Serie A champions, Juventus playmaker Miralem Pjanic is reportedly determined to make the switch to Barcelona at the end of the current campaign, despite interest from a host of teams.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international midfielder is rumoured to be on the radar of top teams across the world including Premier League giants Man Utd and Chelsea, while Barcelona and PSG are also in the hunt for his services.

The West London club were believed to be hopeful of securing the services of Miralem Pjanic as part of a player-plus-cash deal involving Brazilian-born midfielder Jorginho, however, Mundo Deportivo reports that the 30-year-old is only interested in joining one club.

The report claims that Ligue 1 giants PSG are willing to pay Miralen Pjanic higher wages than Barcelona, however, they have been unable to talk the ex-Roma star into turning down interest from the Spanish giants.

Since making the switch to Juve back in 2016, Pjanic has played 167 games for the club in all competitions.

Chelsea also eyeing a summer move for another Juventus star Adrien Rabiot who has been tipped to depart from Allianz Stadium after failing to secure place in the starting XI.
