Chelsea must not pursue a deal for Ben Chilwell and should go after Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico instead, according to former West Ham midfielder Don Hutchison. Both Chilwell and Tagliafico are linked with summer moves to Stamford Bridge. However, Leicester City and England star Chilwell would likely cost a lot more than Tagliafico. Reports in recent months have claimed Leicester would want up to £80million for their 23-year-old. Tagliafico, meanwhile, could be available for as little as £22.4m. The 27-year-old has earned a fine reputation since his arrival from Independiente in 2018.
