George Flyod Spent Five Years in Prison. Check Out What He Did.

George Floyd, aged 46, is a father of two girls and a son who was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, but grew in Houston, Texas.

The six-foot-seven giant was a star football and basketball player in high school.



According to a Houston Chronicle report, George Flyod was 13 years ago charged with aggravated robbery with a lethal weapon - referring to Harris County Court records. In 2019 two years later, George Floyd was sentenced and served a five-year prison ruling as part of a plea deal on the 2007 charge of aggravated robbery with a lethal weapon, reports again by the Houston Chronicle.



Determined to transform himself into a good citizen and help improve his life and community, 'Big Floyd' as he was well known because of his giant physical appearance took control of his own life and change, moved from his hometown at North Carolina many years ago to begin a fresh start in Minneapolis where he worked as a truck driver and bouncer in a night club where one of the police men worked too.



One of his Houston buddies, Ronnie Lillard, notified the BBC World News that he became active in his local ministry, Resurrection Houston, after been released from prison.

"People mistake him because he was so big that they thought he was always a fighting person, but he was a loving person."

Floyd's ex, Roxie Washington, told reporters.

Washing ton, the mother of one of his three children announced that their six-year-old daughter, Gianna, was an evidence that he was a good man.
