Chelsea Set To Complete A Deal For 23-Year-Old Bundesliga Playmaker Next Summer At £37m

Chelsea drew their last game against Sevilla on Tuesday during their UEFA Champions League clash.

The West London club was among the group of teams that enjoyed a successful summer transfer spree, of which they spent £230million to bring in the likes of Kai Harvertz, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Malang Sarr and Edouard Mendy.

Although, Chelsea failed in their attempt to bring in some players, like the West Ham United Declan Rice, who has been known to be a good admirer of the Blues Manager Frank Lampard.



The Premier League giants now seems to be getting prepared for the next summer transfer, as they have reportedly identified Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder as a potential transfer target.

Chelsea are planning a summer move to secure the services of the 23 years old defensive midfielder as an alternative for Declan Rice, who they were unable to sign during the last summer transfer window.


The 23 years old has been incredible in performance for the German outfits, establishing himself as a key player in the Borussia Monchengladbach squad, since he joined them from Young boys.

According to the Sun, Chelsea have identified the 23 years old as a replacement for Declan Rice, and are reportedly planning a summer move to complete a deal for the 23 years old next summer.

Manchester United have also been known to be a good admirer of the 23 years old Denis Zakaria, who still remain contracted to the club till 2022, as they see him as a replacement for their ageing Nemanja Matic.
